Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use this website and when you buy from Sweet Sip. Please read them before ordering. Placing an order means you accept them.

1. Who we are

This store is run by Sweet Sip, Colombo 15, Sri Lanka. Contact: [BUSINESS EMAIL].

We are an independent retailer of imported products. Brand names such as Monster, Milka, Kinder and Prime are trademarks of their owners. We are not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by them.

2. Who can order

• You must be 16 or older to order. If you are 16 or 17, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the order.
• We may cancel an order if we reasonably believe it was placed by someone under 16.
• Energy drinks contain caffeine. They are not recommended for children, for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for people sensitive to caffeine.

3. Our products

• Imported goods. Our products are made for other countries. Packaging, language, recipe and pack size can differ from the versions sold elsewhere, and between shipments.
• Pictures are illustrations. Product images and the 3D can on our homepage are illustrations to help you choose. The item you receive may look different.
• Ingredients and allergens. The product’s own label is the authoritative source of ingredients, allergens and nutrition information. If you have an allergy or dietary need, check the pack, or message us before ordering and we’ll check it for you.
• Best-before dates. We only send products within their best-before or use-by date.

4. Prices, stock and import delays

• Prices are in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR) and include the import duties and taxes we have paid. You won’t be charged any customs fees.
• Delivery charges depend on your city and chosen speed. They are shown at checkout before you place your order.
• Stock levels on the site are live, but an item can sell out while you are ordering. If that happens, we will let you know and won’t charge you for it.
• We bring stock in from overseas, so restocking depends on international shipping and customs clearance, which we can’t control. Restock dates are estimates, not promises.
• If a price on the site is clearly wrong, we will contact you before sending anything. You can then pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. How ordering works

1. Placing an order sends us an offer to buy the items in your bag at the prices and delivery charge shown.
2. You then receive an order number and confirm your order with us on WhatsApp. The contract is formed when we confirm it back to you.
3. We may decline or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, a price is wrong, we can’t deliver to your address, or we suspect fraud or an underage order. If you have already paid, we refund you in full.
4. You can cancel free of charge at any time before your order is dispatched.

6. Payment

• Cash on Delivery. Pay the courier the order total in cash when your parcel arrives. If a Cash on Delivery order is refused without a good reason, we may not offer Cash on Delivery to you again.
• Bank transfer. We send our bank details on WhatsApp. We dispatch your order once the full amount has cleared into our account, which can take one to two working days depending on your bank. If payment hasn’t cleared within 3 days of your order, we may cancel it and release the stock. Any charges your bank applies are your responsibility.

7. Delivery

• We deliver within Sri Lanka only, to the cities listed at checkout. We do not ship internationally.
• Priority Express (next day) is available in the Western Province; Standard delivery takes around 2–3 working days. Delivery times are estimates, and courier, weather or holiday delays can happen.
• Please give a correct address and a phone number the courier can reach. If delivery fails because of wrong details or no one being available, we may charge for re-delivery.
• Please check your parcel when it arrives. The goods become your responsibility once delivered.

8. Returns and refunds

Because our products are food and drink, we can’t accept change-of-mind returns. You are fully covered if something arrives damaged, wrong, expired or faulty. See our Refund Policy for details.

9. Our responsibility to you

• Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act, No. 9 of 2003, or any other law that protects consumers.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
• Otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

10. Using this website

• Don’t misuse the site. That includes placing fake or automated orders, trying to get around its security, or interfering with how it works.
• Our text, design and photos belong to us or our licensors. The 3D can models are used under Creative Commons licences, credited on our homepage.

11. Reviews

• Only customers whose order has been delivered can review a product from that order, once per product.
• We check each review before it appears. We publish negative reviews too, and we never change what you wrote.
• We remove only reviews that contain abuse, personal details (yours or anyone else’s) or spam, or that are not about the product.
• No one is paid or rewarded for a review. Our owners, family and staff do not review our products.
• By sending a review you let us show it, with the name you chose, on our website. Ask us to take yours down at any time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Sri Lanka. Please contact us first; most problems can be sorted out quickly.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.
